Booktube-a-thon TBR

The booktube-a-thon 2014 has arrived!

I'm so excited to participate again this year. I am not a booktuber. I don't make videos but watch them religiously and participate in read-a-longs through them. The booktube community on YouTube got me into reading again. They have such good recommendations! So here we go.. Booktube-a-thon 2014! Let's start with some basic info:

Ariel Bissett has just posted a video to YouTube to tell is the challenges. I will now let you know what I plan on reading and how I will kick down this challenges.

Reading Challenges:
1- a book with pictures
2- start and finish a series
3- a book with red on the cover
4- a book someone else picks out for you
5- a book from the genre you read the least this year
6- a book to movie adaptation (in which you watch the movie after you read it)
7- read 7 books or 2100 pages

Ps: can only combine 2 challenges at any given time.

Example: book to movie adaptation has red on the cover = 2 challenges done
But can't add a book with pictures.. That would be 3 challenges at once and Ariel said "otherwise you're just messing with my whole system" Haha

How I will tackle the challenges:
1- Alice's Adventures In Wonderland by Lewis Carroll and Camille Rose Garcia
This book has such beautiful artwork.

2: Under The Never Sky, Through The Ever Night, Into The Still Blue by Veronica Rossi

3: Champion by Marie Lu

4&6: Vampire Academy
Chosen at random on my kobo ereader and it's a movie I haven't watched yet.

5: Landline by Rainbow Rowell
I don't read much adult novels like I used to. This is a contemporary adult novel... and a new release. yay!

7- If I read all these books or manage to read 2100 pages for the week, this challenge will be complete.

There are also some video challenges but I won't be participating.

What will you be reading?

Make sure to follow booktubeathon on Twitter for the reading sprints.  Those help bring the community together and makes the reading week so much fun!

Take care,
Sarah
